TOM COUGHLIN JAY FUND FOUNDATION
10TH ANNUAL CELEBRITY GOLF CLASSIC
EARNS $210,000

The Tom Coughlin Jay Fund Foundation celebrated its Diamond Anniversary of the Celebrity Golf Classic, its largest annual fundraiser. The Dinner and Silent Auction held on May 1st at the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club and the subsequent Golf Tournament on May 2nd at Marsh Landing Country Club were huge successes for The Foundation, netting in excess of $210,000. All funds raised at this event remain in Jacksonville to support local children undergoing pediatric leukemia and cancer treatments, and their families.

Tom Coughlin was joined by an impressive line-up of celebrity guests including Bill Polian, President of the Indianapolis Colts, Jeff Fisher, Coach of the Tennessee Titans, Jim Furyk, PGA Tour player, Chris Mortensen and Tom Jackson, renowned ESPN analysts, Kyle Brady, Chris Hansen, Eli Manning, and numerous other NFL players.

The tournament was presented by Acosta Sales and Marketing, First Coast News, Orthodontic Education Company, The PGA Tour, and Wolfson Children’s Hospital. Official Sponsors included Coggin Automotive Group, Elias Jewelry, Matheny Jaguar, Southern Wine and Spirits, and Zurich Insurance.

To date, The Tom Coughlin Jay Fund Foundation has donated more than $1.2 million dollars for Jacksonville-area pediatric leukemia and cancer patients, and their families. The Jay Fund helps families improve their quality of life by offering financial and emotional assistance as their child is being treated for cancer.

The Tom Coughlin Jay Fund Foundation was created in honor of Jay McGillis. Jay was a very special young man who played football for Coughlin at Boston College and developed leukemia. The courage, compassion and faith he demonstrated during the course of his illness were an inspiration to many people.

1. Assist children with leukemia and other cancers and their families during the course of their illness
2. Support clinical and laboratory research in leukemia and other childhood cancers that will be of benefit to these children and their families.
