The “Champions for Children” Gala, held on September 12, at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City raised more than $700,000 for the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund Foundation, which provides financial assistance to families of children with cancer.
The fun and festive occasion was hosted by Coach Tom Coughlin and was highlighted by guests including NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and a multitude of Giant players, including Eli Manning, Justin Tuck, Amani Toomer, Mathias Kiwanuka, Brandon Jacobs, Antonio Pierce, Jeff Feagles and Sam Madison. The Giants players walked the red carpet, hosted tables, and mingled with fans. The event also featured a silent auction, dinner and awards ceremony which honored New York Giants co-owners Ann T. Mara and Joan H. Tisch for their philanthropic endeavors.
